TIMBER CONCESSIONS (REVESTING) LAW - 1982 (PNDCL 17)

• Section - 1 - Revesting Of Certain Timber Concessions In Republic.

  • All Timber Leases granted by the Republic particulars of which are specified in the Schedule to this Law are hereby cancelled and any interest therein is hereby revested in the Republic free from all encumbrances.[As amended by Timber Concessions (Revesting) (Amendment) Law, 1982 (PNDCL 35 s.1)]
    

• Section - 2 - Granting Of Timber Leases To Mim Timber Co.

  • All timber leases specified in the Schedule to this Law, the interest in which are revested in the Republic by virtue of section 1 of this Law, are hereby granted to Mim Timber Company as lessee for the remaining years of the said leases subject to the same terms and conditions of the said leases.[As inserted by Timber Concessions (Revesting) (Amendment) Law, 1982 (PNDCL 35) s. 2]
