NATIONAL COUNCIL ON WOMEN AND DEVELOPMENT (INTERIM MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE) LAW - 1987 (PNDCL 174)

    • The Membership of the Council of the National Council on Women and Development existing under the National Council on Women and Development Decree (N.R.C.D. 322) is hereby dissolved.

    • (1) Until provision is otherwise made by Law, the functions of the National Council on Women and Development under the National Council on Women and Development Decree, 1975 (N.R.C.D. 322) shall be exercised by an Interim Management Committee established under subsection (2) of this section.

      (2) The Interim Management Committee shall consist of a Chairman and nine other persons all of whom shall be appointed by the Provisional National Defence Council.

    • Unless the Provisional National Defence Council otherwise directs, the functions assigned to the Chairman and Executive Secretary of the National Council on Women and Development under the National Council on Women and Development Decree 1975 (N.R.C.D. 322) shall be performed respectively by the Chairman of the Interim Management Committee and such member of the Committee as the Provisional National Defence Council may designate as the Executive Secretary.

    • This Law shall be deemed to have come into force on the 20th day of June, 1986.
