TAXATION (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) ACT - 1979 (AFRCD 13)

• Section - 1 - SMCD 222 Amended.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the Taxation (Amendment) Decree, 1979 (S.M.C.D. 222) shall be deemed to have come into force on the date on which that Decree was published in the Gazette that is to say, the 16th day of February, 1979 and accordingly, the cancellation of exemptions from duty and tax effected by that Decree shall be deemed to have taken effect as from that date.
