Section - 8 - Disposal of Lands

(1) A disposal of a land which involves the payment of a valuable consideration or which would, by reason of it being to a person not entitled by customary law to the free use of land, involve the payment of available consideration, and which is made,

(a) by a Stool, or

(b) by a person who, by reason of that entitlement under customary law, has acquired possession of the land without payment of a consideration or in exchange for a nominal consideration,

is subject to the operation of article 267 of the Constitution.
